It is with deep regret that we report that BVF life member Connie Adam has passed away at the age of 93.
Connie was a great inspiration, having taken up fencing at the age of 60 and going on to win over 100 medals, including bronze at the 2011 Veteran World Championships.
BVF and the whole fencing community send condolences to Connie’s family at this sad time.
