At present the veteran world championship is going ahead at the beginning of October, but it is always possible that the FIE could cancel the event.
The first BVF competition of the season will be in Guildford on the 31st- 2nd of July. The epee will take place on Saturday the 31st August, with foil on Sunday and sabre on the Sunday or Monday depending on the number of entries.
Some of the places for selection for the Worlds will be based on the Guildford results, with other places decided by the selectors.
