Weapons, Equipment and Material TO BE CHECKED
- 4 weapons, 3 body cords, 3 mask cords for sabre, 2 electric vests, 2 conductive gloves or manchetes for sabre, 1 Uniform (jackets and trousers) and 1 mask per fencer, all the gloves for all weapons.
- All the equipment must be in good condition
- Fencers should present their weapons and other materials in a fencing bag.
- Fencers are individually responsible for the full functioning of their electrical equipment.
- At the weapons control room there isn’t an initial control of the weight, travelling
distance and functionality of the foils and epees point buttons.
At the poules and before the tableau 32 weapons are checked by the referee on the piste before each bout, and is under the fencer’s responsibility.
- Functionality of the cords will be checked during the initial weapons control, but still fencers have full responsibility that cords will be functioning before the start of each bout.
- The family name and the country (3 letters) should be printed in readable in vivid blue colour on the back of the jacket, letters between 8 and 10 cm height.
